Kanpai Izakaya - Milwaukee

I absolutely loved the interior design! The booth provided a private and cozy atmosphere. The ambiance was ideal for a date night. The food was not only quick to arrive but also delicious. This has quickly become our new favorite sushi restaurant!

This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we found the food to be absolutely delicious. Our waitress, Jackie H, was a true delight! Despite being quite busy, she maintained a warm and cheerful demeanor, always wearing a smile and exuding a great attitude.

This was our second visit to Kanpai, and the food was outstanding. We were part of a large group (13 people), so we made reservations in advance. Each person ordered something different, and everything I tasted was incredible. I particularly enjoyed the Hawaiian volcano, which is lit at the table and adds a wonderful flavor to the roll. The salmon belly nigiri was exceptional, and the Boss roll was bursting with flavor. We also tried the Sweet and Spicy Gyoza, which was absolutely delicious. I can't wait to return!

The sushi is amazing! However, I asked for items like chopsticks and spicy mayo but didn't get them.

I had one of the best sushi experiences ever! We visited on a Saturday evening, and it was fantastic. We were seated right away and warmly greeted by our server, Emily. We started with the fried pork gyoza and stuffed avocados, both of which were delicious. Then we tried the crunch munch, rock n’ roll, California roll, shrimp tempura maki roll, MKE roll, and the flaming Oh My God roll. We also enjoyed a sweet pear drink. Emily was incredibly attentive and friendly, always checking to see if we needed anything. This is definitely a must-visit spot for anyone who loves sushi! It’s an exceptional place for sushi lovers.
