The King I Thai - Milwaukee

I have no complaints about this restaurant! The food and service were both excellent. Just be aware of your spice tolerance because even the mild options were quite spicy here.

I always make a point to visit this restaurant every year after Anime Milwaukee and the food never disappoints! The service is generally excellent, although the wait time for the food can vary (especially if the restaurant is busy or if dining with a large group). If you're not a fan of spicy Thai food, be sure to stick to the mild options. I really enjoy the atmosphere of the place, especially with the mirrors on one wall making it appear even larger. I highly recommend it! ❤️

We arrived at this restaurant very hungry and were relieved that we had made a reservation, as it gets quite busy. We ordered a variety of dishes and found them all to be delicious. The ambiance is a bit dim, but the service was excellent. The highlight of our experience was the owner, who was very attentive and made sure all of his customers were well taken care of.

I have been searching for a new go-to spot for my favorite Thai dishes, and after almost 9 months of searching, I finally found it! Everything was delicious, from the panang curry to the chicken satay, the som tom papaya salad to the fresh spring rolls (which had a unique addition of mint that was fabulous). My only critique is that the som tom papaya salad was quite small for its $10 price. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

Overall, the food was delicious. The roasted pineapple duck curry was particularly sweet and tasty. I did find the salads to be a bit expensive. My group ordered the steak larb salad and papaya salad, but the portion sizes were quite small compared to other restaurants I've been to. Our server was very friendly and although it seemed like they were short staffed that day, the service was still good. I would definitely consider eating here again!
