The Social American Tavern - Milwaukee

I was sad! I went to a date and at The Social, nobody was prepared, they wanted us to sit in the middle of the unattractive room. And furthermore the Prices are high. NEVER GO AGAIN

We waited a very long time for two sandwiches and a salad. Almost an hour…too long when you are hungry. And since it was not too busy, we were confused as to why. Our server was great, though. Kudos to her for making the best of situation.

Service was outstanding. Food was good, but could have had a little more flavor.

I had the cheeseburger, which I ordered medium. When it came out the bottom of the bun was burnt black. How does the chef send it out that way? The burger itself was well done and very dry. It felt like it had been cooked hours before and sat. The cheese was hard and dried out. The burger was not edible. The only thing on the plate that was good was the leaf of lettuce and slice of tomato. On the plus side, my husband said his salmon was ok.

Great experience at this restaurant! It is a must try!
