Automatic three stars for the view from the outside deck. Great place to stop for small bites. Service be it not the best is indeed quick. Decor is fitting, the layout of the restaurant subpar however I have been here when it was TGI Fridays and it was Miller Park and it 's much cleaner now. I spent more time taking pictures of the restaurant then I did of the food: that speaks volumes.
Came here today for dinner right when they open for the Cubs versus Brewers. We have visited previously when it was a TGIF. I definitely prefer the old TGIF. They were not set us outside they said it was only for people that had paid where Fridays used to allow you to have dinner there before the game. Any tables by the window right by the window were only for four people but they did accommodate us and gave us a nice high top with a nice view. The service was good. I ordered a Prosecco it came in a LaMarca bottle a small one; I poured into the cup which was pretty small and it didn't even fill out which I thought was strange so my thinking was this was not a full bottle. I took a sip it was not Prosecco( it was flat and tasted more like wine and I had my husband taste it to confirm and found this to be completely odd and kind of concerning. Second red flag was the soup was supposed to be chicken tortilla. I saw no Chicken and I saw no tortillas; it was basically spicy minestrone soup. My husband said his food was average. I had chicken wings and they were cooked well whereas I felt like the skin was crispy which I don't like greasy and these were not but I thought the flavor was pretty bland.
This place deserves zero stars. Probably one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had the misfortune to experience. Seriously, find a dumpster behind a McDonald 's with some day old burgers and you will eat better than at this place. We were one of 2 tables in the restaurant during a weekday lunch hour. The complete lack of customers should have told us to escape while we still could. Somehow, they managed to make us wait almost an hour and a half for our food, making this a 2 hour lunch. The food (a salad and a burger) was almost inedible. The salad was hot and the burger was cold. The fries were still frozen on the inside! What little staff was present clearly didn 't want to be there our waiter apologized for the wait for our food and even mentioned (and I paraphrase) I can 't wait to quit this dump like everyone else has. Management all the way to the top doesn 't care about us or the food. He was clearly exasperated by things out of his control. Seriously, how bad can it be if our waiter has to vent to his own customers? Please, please, please, do yourself a favor and run, don 't walk, straight out of the stadium and go somewhere else. You will want every second of your life wasted in this abomination back.
We went here for a Brewer game a back in June. Our first time since TGIF was there. We absolutely love the seating right above left field. We miss TGIF. Their food and drink pricing was comparable to other of their restaurants outside of the ball park. This restaurants prices were more on par with brats and hot dogs throughout the rest of the park. Limited game menu and we didn't care for most of the food. When we first arrived, we were asked to change tables with a handicapped patron. When we found out that the table they wanted us to sit at was actually closer to the exit up than where we reserved, we were perplexed and declined.Service speed was definitely less than desirable even though we knew we'd be there for 3 hours. Not one empty glass or plate was cleared until we settled the bill after the game was over. It's a shame seeing as we love sitting at those tables when we go to a game.
