Vinchi's Pizza - Milwaukee

My husband promised the best Milwaukee pizza and he didn't disappoint. He never disappoints (beboop).

I find myself ordering takeout from this restaurant more often than I care to admit. It truly offers the best pizza in Milwaukee. I've been hesitant to write this review because it's somewhat of a hidden gem that I'd prefer to keep to myself, but this place deserves to succeed. The thin crust is perfect, with just the right amount of sauce and toppings that are customizable. The cheese is never soggy on top. It's simply the best.

At the rear of a quintessential Milwaukee tavern named The Bubbler, Vinchi’s Pizza works out of a small kitchen with a couple of pizza ovens. Sit at one of the few tables, or do take out like we did. Vinchi’s is Milwaukee-style pizza with a thin crust and lots of flavor. We loved it! It isn’t my NY pizza, but that’s a taste driven by memory. Vinchi’s flavor is old Zaffirro’s before corporate fever took over and ingredients changed. I think I liked Vinci’s better. The pizza was slightly thicker than Zaffirro’s. It’s cash only, and pricing is reasonable.

I absolutely adore the pizza at this restaurant and the staff is amazing! I always eagerly anticipate my visits there.

Pizza was very good. I remember the across the street from St Francis hospital on 16th street.
