Les Alchimistes - Minato-ku

I was in several Michelin-star restaurants in japan, and les alchimestes is the same of everyone I had. excellent molecular-influenced Japanese-French fusion. my friend and I find in the rule at least one or two courses in a tasting menu to second guests: not this time. everything was on the square. small, minimal, hip.

Terrific food and good service. Will go again when in Tokyo next.

Second visit. Some of the dishes excellent, others just very good, wine pairing were slightly disappointing this time (excellent on last visit). Overall excellent for a special occasion.

I have dined at several Michelin-starred restaurants in Japan, and Les Alchimistes is on par with all of them. The Japanese-French fusion cuisine with molecular influences is excellent. My friend and I typically expect one or two standout courses in a tasting menu, but this time every dish was exceptional. The ambiance is small, minimal, and hip.
