Contribuisci feedbackThe restaurant was very hard to find as it was not on the ground floor. Once inside, the staff was formal and unfriendly. The chef in particular was very stiff and offered no insight into the food he was preparing. We were sitting at the counter right in front of him. We wanted to try something different and this was very different! It was good and abundant. But very expensive.
The staff was friendly, the restaurant was spotless, but unfortunately, the food was not enjoyable. I'm sorry to say, but it's not worth a visit.
Our experience was excellent. This was one of the best tasting menus we have ever tried.
This cozy, romantic spot will absolutely blow you away once your food hits the table. Think about how much fine dining relies on big ticket meat and fish items; now, take them all away. How will the chef deliver a five star fine dining experience? Chef Nomura doesn’t just deliver, he inspires. My wife and I left with a deep appreciation for Shojin Ryori cuisine and are looking forward to finding ways to incorporate more vegetarian meals at home. We cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant enough.
The food was excellent. The chef personally walked us through each course since my partner and I didn't understand Japanese.
