Hobgoblin Roppongi British Pub - Minato

Just been in for Sunday Lunch. My wife had beef, I had Lamb. The lamb was as tough as an old boot. The roast potatoes were deep fried. It was an extra cost for mint sauce. My wife's beef was mainly grissle and fat and had a most peculiar taste. We are English, this was nowhere near a Sunday roast. It was the worst meal we have had in Japan. Please don't call this a Sunday Roast.

One of the better British experiences I've had in Tokyo. The beers on tap are expensive, but it's a pretty accurate replica of a British pub. The food is pretty standard, too, which is nice. A super nice place to go for a drink or a dinner with friends. There are actual vegetarian options, which for Japan is very unusual, so that was a nice surprise. The only thing that baffled me was the Aussie Rules game on the TVs it's Rugby, Cricket or Football guys! Of course Tokyo has a much smaller Western pop, so I understand catering to the Aussies in town. The staff speak excellent English, too, so good for tourists wanting a familiar experience. Recommend!

Actually surprised at how authentic British food is here. Highly recommended if you're home sick or want to try British food.

Great place to enjoy food and drinks. Vegetarian options available along with a wide range of craft beer, wine cocktails. Perfect for a British experience in Tokyo !!

British pub. Good place and English speaking. The IPA was ok but seemed a bit light. Sports on televisions. Nice to feel and a happy place.
