Everything was excellent. The atmosphere was great and the chef was very friendly, engaging in good conversation with us.
Sushi Zo was fantastic! All of the sushi was incredibly fresh and tender. Every single piece melted in your mouth! Every piece was artfully prepared by the amazing chef who was a joy to watch and talk to he speaks english). We were slightly hesitant to go here since Sushi Zo originally started in LA and has a few locations, but it did not interfere with the integrity at all. It was a very intimate experience, there are only 8-10 seats at the sushi bar and that's it. It was also a bit pricey $570 for two people, including 1 sake and 3 beers), but it was a great restaurant to splurge at and well worth it.
Our experience at Sushi Zo Tokyo is the highlight of our trip to Tokyo. I can’t imagine having sushi anywhere else as good (excellent! as what we had that night. The whole experience from the chef engaging with the guests to the service was memorable. We are from Philadelphia USA and happy to have been told by the chef that there are 2 Sushi Zo in New York, 1 1/2 hours away. We will be certain to make the trip!!
Went here with my family. 6 of us in total. We had the place to ourselves. The music was a bit loud at first but they kindly turned it down upon request. Everything else was amazing, from the service, ambiance and the sushi. One of the best omakase sushi experiences I have had in Tokyo and the chef was very friendly and engaging and provided a fantastic experience. Can’t wait to eat here again.
