Not very far, maybe a 5-10 minute drive from Little Current, and a really good flea market on Hwy 6. The campground is quiet, and has a "no loud stereo anytime" rule, so if you are looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy time by the fire, this is perfect for you. On the other hand, if you are looking for a place to play some music, have some friends over and don't want to worry about being too loud, this may not be the right campground. Also worth noting is that while the campground says it is "dog friendly," you are not allowed to have your dogs off a leash at anytime, even at the dog beach - UNLESS they are IN the water. We have 2 standard poodles who we let out of the truck after a 7 hour drive when we arrived at the campsite. Because we were busy setting up the trailer, we did not think of tying them up right away but they are used to being off leash and did not leave our campsite. Within 5 minutes, the owner drove by our site and told us that if he had to tell us again to keep our dogs on a leash, that we would be asked to leave the campground. He finished by asking us, "Do you understand that? Simple right?" I completely understand this rule (that dogs must be tied), however, there is definitely a way to speak to someone nicely, without sounding like a jerk. Other things to note was that there was no hand soap in either of the washrooms the whole time we were there. The water in the showers was hot the first 2 mornings, but then the last morning we were there it was going between hot and cold. There is a $10 admission fee for day guests, which I thought was a bit much, but I guess most campgrounds charge this fee. Also, it is not free to use the dumping station, which was a first for us. We have been camping with our trailer for 4 years now and all the campgrounds we have visited, there is no fee for using the dumping station if you are camping at the site. This campground charges $20. The store says it opens at 8am but when we needed the dumping station at 9:30am (when we were leaving), the doors were locked and so we could not dump our sewage and grey water. We ended up dumping at a nearby Petro Can for $10 instead.Overall, beautiful campsite and location but very laid-back and not great service.
We tented in the campground and loved the idea that we had a restaurant within walking distance of our campsite. This place is located on the North Channel in the Bay of Sheguiandah. The meals here are made from scratch and priced reasonably. They had a roast beef buffet the night we were there but we ordered off the menu. My husband ordered shrimp and got at least a dozen of the nice sized butterflied shrimp. I ordered a haddock fillet sandwich and it was huge. I saw other orders that looked amazing, including poutine. We would definitely eat there again if in the area.
Lot 579 is the indoor food court that is located within Pacific City right by the Pasea Resort & Hotel.
Cool place, with a lot of great options to checkout insideThis review is for the facility.
Whoo hoo, this place has finally OPENED! If you love the food hall concept that Anaheim Packing District offers, then you'll just die over this new retail
