Schat's Bakery Minden

This place is an amazing little place! Excellent food for breakfast and their fresh bakery items are great! The breakfast bowls are a great choice when getting some of their fresh squeezed orange juice.

Always fresh goodies, both savory and sweet. I love the elephant ear pastries that are only made a couple of times a week. The savory croissants are to die for, and the sweet, assorted cinnamon rolls are just sweet enough to eat with one of their batista style coffee or tea drinks. The photo attatached is my very own French toast bake using a couple of each of the above yummy cinnamon and sweet rolls and a simple custard.. We have had business lunches and girlfriend luncheons, and the menu never fails to amaze us. Prices are a bit higher than I like to spend. However, the portion size, quality of ingredients, the service, etc, I will pay it every time..

Normally a big fan of all the Schat's, however not right now. Purchased a chili cheese bread after pulling it apart noticed the inside was completely moldy.

Best Reuben ever! The bakery is wonderful, the products are like ART and delicious!!

Unbelievable bakery. Great pastry choices and the bread is to die for. It is decorated extremely well and has a comfortable ambience. I enjoyed grabbing a tea and pastry and sitting at the elevated table by the front window to people watch. They share the restroom with the attached C.O.D Casino. We saw another Schat's in Carson City while we traveled through there.
