Good food although the breakfast menu has changed. It 's not as good as it was. Everybody doesn 't want potatoes with their egg and bacon. Some prefer a biscuit and gravy instead. They should have adjusted their prices instead if dumping the original breakfast menu. Most other costumers feel they same. Hope they bring back the original breakfast with cost adjustment. Then I 'll give more stars!
Liver and onion dinner with cabbage and fried potatoes was cooked perfectly! Delicious! Shrimp and catfish dinner with Cole slaw and fries was excellent as well. We had Pecan pie and coconut pie for dessert. We will be back!
Uncle Bubba?s is a tale of two cities. Some times, the food is great, the service is friendly, and the wait is short. Other times, not so much. In general, I?ve always gotten good food here, sometimes better than others, but nothing bad. As for service, it?s always friendly, but being a small town restaurant, the familiarity between staff and patrons sometimes leads to lengthy conversations that delay service. But the real issue at times is the wait. I?ve been when we?ve ordered our food, and in 10 minutes we have it. Then there?s this morning, where it?s taking 45-50 minutes for orders to come out. Several customers have just left, complaining about the wait time. I assume it?s due to a lack of kitchen staff, but at some point something has to change. I?ll keep coming, because I know that the extreme wait this morning is not the norm. I hope they can be adequate to lay staffed in the future.
