Bordertown Coffee in Minneapolis is a haven for coffee connoisseurs. The extensive menu boasts classic coffee choices, along with an array of tempting teas and tea lattes. My latte experience was nothing short of exceptional—the milk was perfectly prepared, consistently creamy, and adorned with the perfect amount of foam. What sets Bordertown apart is its unique location inside an old house. The ambiance is a delightful blend of history and modern comfort, with inviting tables, plush couches, and tucked-away study nooks. The attention to detail in decor creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the overall enjoyment of your visit. Bordertown is by far one of my favorite places near the U of M campus. You really have to look for it since it’s in the middle of the block. Love the charm of the building, makes for a great study or work spot if you can find a seat. Drinks are good, tried a seasonal beverage and it did not disappoint. They definitely put care into your order.

My favorite coffee shop on the UMN campus! I usually get a flavored latte here and it is always a good balance w/ the coffee and flavor. Their pastries are also very good (I really like the rosemary+ chocolate chip muffin). Seems like a great place to study or meet up to work on a group project, although I usually just get my coffee to-go first thing in the morning so I'm not sure how busy it gets later in the day. Cool old building and seems like a great space!

The turquoise latte with almond milk is spicy and sweet (yes if you want, without honey). The workplace is phenomenal and the bakery cook is actually vegan, so there are always great treats!
