Conga Latin Bistro - Minneapolis

Brought out of town guests. We have not been here in about 10 years but thought it would be a fun change of pace. There was only 1 other couple there at 6:00ish time. Our server promptly came to the table for drink order before we really had a chance tosettle in. One of our party asked for water, she returned with only 1 glass instead of 4. As we needed time to look over themenu, the server left quickly. Upon her return, we placed orders, (one requested item was unavailable), and asked for 3additional waters. Order was placed at about 6:15. Server never returned to ask if we needed anything else, take drink order, orexplain delay....food was brought to the table about 7:30-7:40. Very curious as still were the only party in the entireplace. At about 8:00, music was turned up considerably, and several couples parties started arriving to dance. Even payingserver took a long while, about 15-30 min. I hope this was just an off night...but some explanation would have been appreciated.

Very good food and drinks. I came once before for dinner and the plates used to have bigger servings but still very good.

Amazing flavor I had the Jamican Chicken and it was amazing. Reasonable priced food. I would definitely return.

Great place to eat and dance. The Best Mofongo in Minnesota. Mofongo is a tradtional dish from Puerto Rico, if you want to have a taste of puertorrican cuisine, this is the place to go.
