Spätzle is a fresh pasta as opposed to Italian macaroni that is a dried pasta. This gives spätzle an al dente texture that is truly unique. Glueks is the only place in the metro I know to get this traditional dish, it tastes just like my grandma makes it in North Dakota ??. Glueks is a staple of the community and has been around forever. The owners treat their staff very well and are genuinely kind people. They have live music on the weekends and the vibe is always good. They even have their own Gluek beer, the cream ale is great. 10/10 for an authentic German food experience.
Cheese curds and fries were great. Service was efficient and polite. They even had butter for the pretzels when I asked. Next time I'll try a beer.
Had an excellent experience here before a TWolves playoff game. Food was WAY better than we expected. Walleye Fingers were super good. But so we're the wings (Dry Run) and the cheeseballs and Large Pretzel.
First time in Minnesota. Tried the Walleye (we don’t have this in Texas) and the Schnitzel on a Spaetzle. Loved it. The cheese on the spaetzle was a little too dry, but tasty.
Historical building with LOTS of character. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Cream Ale is delicious. Take the time to look at the pictures in the entrance and learn about the history of the building and business itself. We had a great time and will be back
