Normandy Kitchen - Minneapolis

From the moment I entered, I felt welcomed by the manager. I decided to sit at the bar for dinner, which was fantastic—although I wouldn't recommend the grits. I was a bit uneasy about walking back to my hotel because it was dark, I was alone, and as a woman, that made me nervous. The manager, who was handling reservations, kindly offered to walk me back to ensure I got there safely. I never would have expected such a thoughtful gesture. The bartender was also incredibly friendly and professional. I will definitely recommend this place to others—not just for the delicious food, but for the outstanding service that truly goes above and beyond!

We've had exceptional dinners each time we've visited. I highly recommend the meatloaf, fish specials, steak, and popovers. The wine selection is also impressive. The atmosphere is lovely, especially after the recent renovations. We always feel warmly welcomed. If you can, try to come on a jazz night for an extra touch of charm—it's perfect for a date night!

I absolutely adore this place! The recent renovations have really improved the atmosphere. The bar's windows now open up, offering an amazing view of 8th Street in downtown!

Salad was pefectly dressed, steak was truly rare and the popovers were worth the wait.
