They're wonderfully soft, warm, and delicately diverse, with lots of cooked veggies and many good--i think house-made--salsas. Definitely get the calabaza tacos if you see them available!!
Excellent chorizo tacos, horchata drink, dessert. They always do a great job on the food. 5 stars for the food. One problem though that I haven't seen before: A guy came up asking us for food. He was dressed ok and looked in good shape. We said no and he stood there for a long time in what eventually seemed like a threat. He left and came back and offered us 2 dollars for the 7 dollar dessert. When we said no He sad wow. He sat back at another booth and was waiting to harass people. I would have given Los Ocampos a 5 but after watching how they allowed this guy to harass people I am less likely to want to eat there any more.
Authentic Mexican food for a very reasonable price. Great portion sizes and veggie options. I recommend the combo plates.
My favorite place to get a late night bite. They have the best masa tortilla quesadillas. Love the variety of meats and salsa's.
This is a good taco spot. They tacos themselves are really good and flavorful. Tortillas and ingredients seemed fresh. I was not a huge fan of their salsas and the rice. The flavor of the rice was decent actually, but I just don't prefer it prepared however they do it. There's always pepitas in it which I've never heard of before. But if you're into that cool. The beans were good. I would come back and try a few more things to get a better idea of my feelings. It's nice there's a small lot. Helps a lot in this busy area.
