Unfortunately, this has changed when we recently went to dinner on 3/14. there were problems with four of the four dinners (three of them were from the celebrate seafood menu): popovers: the first batch was overdue. the second charge was a little better. clam chowder: watery, not creamy, not much taste crab and shrimp louie salad: ok tasting, but only a garnel on the teller beer battered wild alaskan Cod:(2) coleslaw: very bitter fish tasted as if it were too long roasted in old oil also had a problem with the teig. I had to get the fish out. found bree capsules in broccoli lakeshore redisserie chicken platter: chicken good. side of the green bean greasy. our server was efficient and knowledgeable. honestly, we did not complain about eating at dinner because the lists would have been overwhelming. because of this dinner we really need to think twice about going back to the lakeshore grill.
The Grill is a delightful place to dine and the waitress Dana made our visit enjoyable. We tried the grain bowl with added protein selection, delicious. The popovers, of course, are a hit and the petite size makes them delicious and manageable. We can always depend on the food and service at the Lakeshore Grill.
We come here a lot. Must have been an off day for the kitchen. The pot pie wasn’t very flavorful and the stir fry was so spicy and had way too much sauce. Will try again another time. Service was good.
We eat there on a fairly regular basis and love the walleye. Unfortunately that evening the fish was so overcooked that there was no flavor left at all...very disappointing. Fortunately we have had it there so many times we know how good it normally is and would still recommend your establishment. And the service was very nice.
As always great food, great server and we liked the bar high tops for seating, overall a great experience
