Dan's Minocqua Fudge

When I picked up a potty apple for my stepmothers, I discovered that they were only seasonal, so they chose some dampers. Thank God I have. I tried a bite of her and it's absolutely DIVINE. The caramel and cashew brittle is also to die, handmade right in front of you. What a treat!!!! We will be back!!!! Edit: It is now October and the taffy apples are on sale. Oh, they were worth waiting! They are huge, covered with thick, gooey, rich carmel and charges of pecans. A bite and you'll be transported right into the sky, I promise.

My husband, our two daughters, and I visit this place every time we're in Minocqua. We're huge fans of ice cream, fudge, chocolate turtles, sea salt caramels, and taffy! We always buy a lot of chocolates and candies, and there's genuinely something for everyone. It can get quite busy during the summer holidays, but the staff has always been friendly and helpful during our visits. We try to come at least once a year. I've seen some critical comments below, but I would recommend coming in, relaxing, being patient when it's crowded, and enjoying the classic candy shop experience!

There are no words how much I love this place. Only place I want.

The nostalgia of Dan's Fudge takes me back to my childhood in the 80s. The aroma is incredible, and no trip to the island town feels complete without a stop there.

Over the top absolutely amazing Santa and the sleigh ride was more then the cherry on top! I would recommend them n their AMAZING customer service over n over! They were also quick to get me the goodies I needed!!
