Pizza Delight - Miramichi

Pizza Delight was one of my favourities as a child in Ontario and to find one one our trip out east was a thrill. The server was very friendly and talkative and made the meal great. He convinced my wife to try the donair pizza, since she had never had that East cost experience. She still is not convinced. The kids enjoyed the pizza faces (with candy!) I was a bit jealous my pizza did not have a the cute cat face! As well their desserts were done just right, one got the icecream sandwich and the other the spider pudding (yes, it looked just like a spider!)All in all a great pizza joint!

Looking for something new and had not been to a Pizza Delight for years. Driving past this one on water street and gave it a try. The staff was friendly and the menu interesting but I decided to try a Super Donair. It was quickly prepared so I decided to eat in the dinning room. There was a good crowd and everyone was enjoying dinner. Yes, including myself. I will be returning.

I took my family here the last week of June and I have to say that compared to other Pizza Delight locations I have been to, this one was really not well run. The place was staffed exclusively by kids. Not one of them was over 25. They were more interested in serving their takeout customers than those in the restaurant and were out of stock on some items. The food, while cheap, was badly overcooked and underwhelming. If you are in the Miramichi, stick to the location in Newcastle and skip the one in Chatham.

This is my favorite restaurant chain. I am so disappointed that its not expanded further west. Our server at this location was efficient, yet relaxed and very personable. But my super donair was just okay. It was on the dry side, and probably overcooked. Hopefully this was an oops, but I will try a different location the next time I am in this area. Also, this location does not have a Bread Bar. The location in Bathurst is consistently superior.

This is my first time getting pizza from a Pizza Delight store. I was very impressed as were others who ate with me. It was very good, The gluten free pizza is standard and comparable to most places, . The regular pizza topped with lots of goodies and tomatoes with spices was delicious. I put a tomato slice on my gluten free piece fr the regular and it made a world of flavor difference.
