Le Saint Maurice - Mirepoix

The lovely setting is in the main square near the church. Great service and really tasty food which offered very good value. Very enjoyable.

In spite of its good reviews, we weren't expecting much because this restaurant is right on the main square and looks sort of touristic...but we were tired from traveling and just wanted something to eat. We were very pleasantly surprised. Dinner was great, reasonably priced,...etc. So great, in fact, that we went back for lunch the next day, and were equally pleased. Give it a try. In our limited experience, it was the best of several places on the main square.

Has each of my visits to ariège my stop is in this very nice little restaurant on this beautiful place, I recommend it without problem

At the entrance the first room is dark and not very engaging but we had the chance to be able to eat in the patio and there the frame is quite different. we were safe from the wind that was blowing on the terrace in front while being outside. The waitress was listening and smiling despite the number of customers. It is not about gastronomy but simple dishes, well presented and good. The kitchen team was a little "in the juice" at the end of service but only because of customers who changed their orders during service!!!! not top for the staff!

We ate a crêpe and an ice in the middle of the summer, it was correct without more. But the service. When you work in tourism, the least thing is to be kind and smiling.
