We were both please with our selections. The owner even showed us the back of the restaurant, where the fresh catches are caught. Delightful experience!
Another hidden or off the beaten path treasure of the Acadien Peninsula. We sopped for lunch at La Terrasse a Steve because everybody recommended it. And boy we were not disappointed. What an amazing experience. All his fish is fresh and nothing is deep fried. Even the Italian burger was different and delicious. He uses all local products in his menu. Definitely worth going out of the way for a visit, and we got to meet Steve and hear his story. Well worth the trip. We plan on going back.
The terrasse is located just off the Miscou bridge so it offers great views of the wharf and ocean. The seafood is ok but not even close to the best offered in the area or the province. The restaurant is quite “rustic” and the service was quite good even if the owner, who was also serving food, wasn’t wearing a mask (Covid). All other servers were following proper procedures.
During a business trip to the area, one of my colleagues organized an outing with the meal being here. I don't eat a lot of seafood but everything was so delicious, so exquisite and so affordable. If you are a seafood lover, you must take the drive over the Miscou Bridge to this wonderful experience.
Que des produits frais dans ce restaurant placé juste en arrivant sur l'île de Miscou. Homard bien préparés, super service, couverts recyclables, ambiance cantine mais cantine familiale. Belles photos anciennes accrochées au mur à l'intérieur.
