Martin's Central Bakery - Mishawaka

A birthday cake from here. They did a very good work with the decoration and it tasted very good. The price for an 8 in round cake was affordable, I paid $25 for the toys that came with the cake.

Large space for most baked goods from bread to cakes, cookies and cupcakes. they even do donuts all freshly made great place for catoring or pre-orders in the Martins stores in ur area not sure how big the cover is, but 5 stars all around!!

Something has changed into your cake. We have ordered cakes from your company since 2009. My last two cakes- one was a sheet of cake and 4 dozen cupcakes and they baked cakes burned freezer and the icing had no taste (other they chemicals). I spent over $100 on cake Then ordered o my birthday cake on 20. January and it was just as terrible. I don't know what changed, but I'm changing back. I love your cakes and your company.

Unfortunately the cake recipe has seemed to have changed. I use to really enjoy their cake but now it seems like the great flavor has gone. Someone told me they've possibly changed to a recipe that has become gluten free. If true I can appreciate them trying to help those with conditions not tolerant to gluten but should possibly off a gluten free option. Their original recipe was fantastic. We've tried a Kroger and Meijer cakes and we felt were much better tasting.I know people are saying that there have been times that Martin's has changed too much since the Spartan buy out. I hope they can stay the Martin's we all know and love. We shall see. All the other grocery stores I'm sure would love to have Martin's customers.
