We LOVE the caesar salad... weird thing to point out but it is the best one I have had in Mexico EVER. Friday night is pizza night where they add pizza to the regular menu. Yum! Great service and usually pretty chill to eat without a mass of tourists but they do speak English well enough if you don't have Spanish skills.
Very good food and margaritas. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices. We stayed at Hotel Casa iguana and it’s about a five minute walk to the restaurant. Will definitely be back!
We’ve been here a few times and we’ve never been disappointed! The atmosphere is genuine Mexico, the food portions are large, and the staff is VERY friendly. We’ve only come here for breakfast, my wife loves the banana pancakes and I usually get the breakfast burrito. Wide selection of drinks, my favorite is the green juice. Well worth the visit in downtown Mismaloya. Recommended!
Once upon a time in the dense jungles of the Sierra Madre there was a great and wonderful little restaurant with incredibly fresh and flavorful foods. It was known throughout the land for its guacamole, and inventive plentiful salads (rare gems in Puerto Vallarta). Then one day a dark and evil shadow fell over the tiny restaurant. War broke out, a great and raging voice was heard in the dining hall, and furniture began to fly through the air. An evil giant had invaded. Visitors scampered to safety. Famine and poverty set-in for workers. Food shortages caused smaller and smaller portions for guests. Then the great lettuce fiasco of March of 2022 happened. Things got so bad that a used-to-be 10-oz fresh and full plate of garden goodness was leveled to 3 ounces of embarrassment, AKA, the Sad Salad. The Sad Salad sits there, tinged by brown-edged un-fresh leaf of lettuce. Thin shards of drying pear attempt conversation with adjacent fragments of dried mystery fruit and dwarf beet chunks. Five clumps of goat cheese hide, as if embarrassed being the sole bright spot in this dull presentation. What once was a penthouse of a salad filling a roomy full-size folding top Styro container, has been reduced to a tenement house platter of stiff greens and scattered eatable accessories. Mismaloya (Missed out on My uh) Salad--price, just $8.00 USD. Better salad deal to be had a home, Whole Foods! Guys, what happened? Your food used to be great right after you opened 2 years ago. Prices are up; quantity and quality trending the other direction.
Las instalaciones no eran buenas, los precios eran exageradamente altos para lo que ofrecían, la comida bastante grasosa y toda la comida solo sabia a mantequilla, el servicio fue pésimo, no lo recomiendo para nada
