Contribuisci feedbackI had a terrible experience at this restaurant with the hostess Madison and the chef who cooked our dinner, who was a Latino man. It was our anniversary and it left us with a terrible memory. When I called to give them the benefit of the doubt and spoke to management, I never received a return call. Instead, I was put on hold and eventually hung up on. The management and food quality went downhill that night. We used to frequent this place but I will now be telling all of my friends not to go there and to find a new hang out spot.
Great sushi and drinks, but not very good service. I didn't try their Hibachi grills, but I heard great reviews. try their drums and everything with scalopps and avocado.
I like the ambiente and the mood of riptide. I've been a customer for many years. they play music and have TV screens, along with a special motorcycle that was built for the restaurant of orange coast choppers on prominent wise. they also have a wall of water. / do not come here to search for traditional rolling, but if they are looking for a fun atmosphere to take with some friends or the fam a bite, this is their place. They also do teppanyaki here, but I come for their unique sushi roles that they can find nowhere else. I recommend their most popular rolls that are...Tornado roll crab, avocado, spicy thunfish with soy paper. cartoffel,- aal- and Cruzin sauce on top./ sexy mutha roll: shrimp tempura, avocado and radish sprouts with soy paper pack.Spicy tuna, masago, green planks, sesame seeds, sprouts mayo and eelsauce above.
We were able to position a nearby fan towards us for most of our visit, but sitting at the back of the restaurant with no airflow made little difference. My biggest concern was the working conditions for the servers and hibachi chefs, which seemed unacceptable. With only three chefs working that night, I could understand the wait. Our chef was very nice and did a great job cooking our meal, despite the challenging circumstances. I gave him a generous tip on the spot to show my appreciation. Our server (I wish I remembered her name, she deserves better) was attentive and constantly refilled my water without complaint. I made sure to give her an extra tip to show my gratitude. Riptide, you need to improve your working conditions for employees and address the lack of airflow in your restaurant. It's surprising that you haven't taken action despite the numerous complaints over the years.
Terrible. I visited this restaurant for the first time and immediately noticed that the bench where you wait to be seated was extremely ripped. The interior of the restaurant had a dark decor, old carpet, and outdated booths from the 90s. It was clear that this place had not been renovated since it first opened. The server was not well-informed about the menu, and the food was simply awful. Why would anyone cover mussels or sushi rolls with cheese? It was unappetizing overall. The only thing I enjoyed was the seaweed salad. My entire experience at this restaurant was a 1 out of 10. I would not recommend it.
