It's a tad on the sweet side, so I suggest asking for the sugar level to be adjusted to 30%. The service here is top-notch, I would give it a 4 out of 5 rating.
Good service and even better bubble tea. Used to come here alot back in high school.Food: 5/5
Friendly service and clean/neat atmosphere, but food is meh at best. Their fried pork chop was either over-fried or marinated in soy sauce for too long. When I got my food it had a charred appearance and the pork chop tasted awful (there also wasn't enough corn flour to cover the pork chop. . Rice and vegetables tasted ok though. For future reference, don't marinate the pork chop for too long in excess soy sauce, and try to fry the pork chops in medium temperature to get it cooked, then a few minutes on high to add the crispiness.
A lot has changed at BR since COVID. Previously, it operated as a traditional restaurant with waitresses taking your order. However, it now follows a food court style where you order and pay at the front counter before waiting for your food to be served or picked up. The quality of the food was average and it was served on disposable styrofoam plates with plastic cutlery, which I personally dislike. It was evident that they were understaffed, hence the use of disposable plates. Service was slow due to the lack of staff, resulting in a 30-minute wait for our orders. Despite requesting 100% sugar in our drinks, they tasted like they only had 30% sugar and we had to ask for more to be added. The tea was bland and watered down. Prices were higher compared to other bubble tea shops in Mississauga, with the only advantage being that they also serve food. The cashier was friendly and pleasant.
Been going to this place for lunch for since 2008 ish …quality is consistent, my favourite is their fried chicken on rice ??
