Jack Astor's Mississauga Dundas

In at around 2:00 in the afternoon on a Friday. Was one of only 2 people dining in at that time besides a couple of patrons on the bar side. Took forever to acknowledge I was waiting for a table. No assistance was given even though I went in with a baby in a car seat, food took very long, waitress did not ask how food was (which was a soggy salad that was super bland and could have used salt and pepper, but of course restaurants don't have them out on the tables anymore) I had to physically walk up to the waitress standing behind the bar at the other side of the restaurant to ask her for a container to go and the bill because no one was coming around for a while.... And while it would have been extremely helpful if she had boxed up my salad for me as I had a baby that was starting to fuss, she left, dropped the debit machine at the table and didn't even come back afterwards to say thank you or anything at all! Considering I saw other stuff just mailing around and it was completely dead inside. The speed of service from start to finish was atrocious and will definitely never come back to this location!

Service was great! I was sitting alone at the bar and had Therese as my bartender who is clearly an experienced professional. She was very personable and knowledgeable about all products/menu options. It was a busy night but she made sure I was taken care of and I never felt rushed to make a choice.

Service by Sofia was absolutely phenomenal this past Sunday. She was so attentive and caring and fun and absolutely lovely to my 2 year old. All the food came out perfectly and she was extremely helpful with any questions I had.I’ve also had the absolute pleasure of being taken care of by Jean. She was very sweet and helpful with all of my dietary restrictions.I will definitely be coming back and asking for these ladies. Came over for a quick lunch. And it was absolutely fabulous. The food was amazing. And Jen my waitress provided me with a fantastic service. I have been to many restaurants. Met different waitress who are nice. But Jen was really attentive. She took the time to listen. And she kept on checking with me. Whenever she notices not eating food she would come up and asks us if everything was ok. She is a great person.

Brianna was super duper attentive and on it! The nachos are a little bit lite, and I find it crazy to pay extra $5 for more cheese or $5 for more meet when it's pushing $30 itself. I won't bother with the nachos again. Otherwise, food was awesome and I specifically sought out JAs because I love their food. I really miss the Bowls and some items from. 10 years ago. Buddha bowl is good. Thai bowl, not so much.
