We couldn't talk or hear at all. Even when the singer started, we could hardly hear his voice. Normally, good singer would not accept to cover her voice with so loud music. The singer is a “C” class. The belly dancer was OK. Food quality is under normal. Shisha was excellent. We ordered Arak drinks Lebanese Ouzo and it tasted like water. After some arguments with the waiter, he replaced the drinks with champagne dishes. Over and above it is too expensive, does not deserve to ask such high prices. For 4 persons dinner of 4-6 small plates of Mezza a plate of mixed grilled chicken pieces Kefta with 2 shisha 30 per 2 Arak drinks 7.5 per the total bill was 360. This includes compulsory remuneration 42. It was an unpleasant experience. I am willing to pay this amount for better food, higher quality program and better service, but this place is terrible. I don't go back there and certainly won't recommend it.
We were in the vicinity and didn't want to travel far, but also didn't want a rushed meal. We arrived early in the evening and had the restaurant to ourselves. The server was very friendly and we mostly enjoyed our meals. I would suggest sticking to their traditional dishes as that is their specialty. Our son had a burger that had a strange taste, perhaps due to some unfamiliar seasoning. However, the Middle Eastern cuisine was quite good and the portion sizes were suitable for the prices.
We were staying at a nearby hotel when one of the staff members recommended Ambrosia to us, saying the food was excellent. We decided to try it out and we are so glad we did! I ordered a vegetarian dish with Baba ganoush, hummus, stuffed grape leaves, pickles, and falafels. My husband ordered a mixed plate with cibbee, grilled chicken, and beef skewers. His plate also came with fries, ketchup, and a delicious garlic sauce. We were also served a basket of freshly baked, hot pita bread. We decided to add some tabouli to our meal and devoured everything on our plates, savoring every bite. The food was some of the best we've had in the Middle East, incredibly authentic and flavorful. It reminded us of the meals we enjoyed in Syria during our travels. Our server was fantastic and made us feel welcomed with their friendly demeanor. And that garlic sauce? Absolutely amazing. It was so flavorful, spicy, and just delicious that we couldn't resist finishing every last bit of it. The hotel we were staying at was just okay, but I would definitely return just to dine at Ambrosia again!
I went to Meza for a friend meeting. The ambiance was nice, but the food was mediocre. It wasn't anything special. The music was too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation with others while it was playing.
Was there for a friends gathering. Meza was good but the food was just ok. Nothing special. Music was way too loud that you can't talk to other people when the music is on.
