I would normally be the staples together with the inappropriately high trips to be nostalgic, but the old man (owner) is...of rude and unacquided mainly to black as in African Caribbean people like me. there is a clear difference how black in this restaurant are considered in comparison to other races. white are worshipped, south and all the other asiates are treated with respect, but black are treated with icy. while they are ashamed of our Caribbean callalloo and stuffing chickens. the macaroni cake is bland and it is missing cheese. without hot sauce, you eat tasteless. Jamaicans, where are they? talk to this rude and sold-out contractor about their jerk and their rice and peas.......more people at LEELA’S.
Have not eaten here for some time. that was a mistake. come back was triggered by a talk about the many different ethnic means of life in mississauga. my son and I discovered that my enkelin had never eaten red or double. she is always happy to try new food and the first place that came into the senses was leelas. we bought simple double with channa. a perfect season. I had only one left for lunch today and the overnight in the refrigerator seems to have improved the taste. my next visit will be for the boneless goat roti that I ordered before. the time between the visit will be much shorter. Leela’s also has a restaurant in Scarborough. it is open 7 days the week. Mississauga is closed on Mondays.
Best trini eat outside of trinidad. every product I had was delicious, but I have favorited: veggie board, bake shark, all curries, delicious dal puri and paratha.
A real one! we had jerk and a double and it was delish. a part makes it so amazing for two meals quality / price. I highly recommend:
Order ahead... ready when you get there! yummy roti's and doubles. Best in town.I haven't tried anything else but have been a repeat customer for years. I don't get my roti's from anywhere else!
