I always stop at this airport Mill St at Pearson when flying out. The food and service is always consistent with a good quality breakfast. <br/ <br/ It's the only meal I've had and always good. The servers do smile and are customer friendly which is often an oversight at airport locations.
I eat at this place almost every time I travel through Pearson because it 's the nicest thing around past the gates. I agree with the catchy synopsis by Lunny below: 'nice savory bite before a flight '. I 've had a couple different items here including the southwest veggie burger, and fish and chips, and was pretty happy with both. Nice pairing with Mill Street Organic Lager. Service is usually quick and efficient and there are TV screens literally EVERYWHERE (good for dining solo if you are travelling on business).
If you're flying out of Toronto be sure to visit Milll St Brewery!!Excellent beer selection and awesome food!!Had the corn crab chowder followed by their Fish ChipsBoth were absolutely excellent!!!
Met all my expectations. Sometimes established restaurants that also have a branch at an airport feature a slimmed down version of their regular menu at their airport location. Mill St Brewery at the T1 departures concourse (beyond security) appears to have their full menu. Also, since it as the airport, the staff know that most diners do not have a lot of time, so service was appropriately fast and efficient. <br/ <br/ I had the Roasted Turkey Wrap (chipotle hummus with a little bit of zing, roasted red peppers and guacamole). Nice savory bite before a flight.
