Let me first say that Lauren at the bar was excellent and considering what she had to work with was both professional and accommodating. We ordered a margarita but there was no tequila. Ordered a white wine and there was only one glass of Chardonnay left. Ordered a gin martini but there was no gin. Finally ordered a caeser but no vodka. I honestly thought I was being punked! Finally ordered a banquet beer as it was the only choice of 4 others. One word...unbelievable!
Just about the worst restaurant food I have ever had. Ordered the calamari, which was the antipasti special, and it was like chewing on battered pencil erasers. If squid is fresh and prepared correctly, it is not rubbery. The price of $9.50 for a 'premium' beer is vastly inflated, even for an airport, and then on top of it, the automatic gratuity is added to the total after the tax has been added! Why am I tipping for tax? The final blow came with the complete and utter unusability of the 'complementary' interactive tablets, which resolutely refused to display any info for my flight and would not allow access to gmail. I tried three separate pads at three different tables and all were equally unusable. Avoid at all costs.
So slow. So rude. And so cold. Service was awful. The food was served really slow and was not warm at all. Since you pay ahead at the iPad they really don't seem to care at all. Never again. Plane food is better.
Waiting for my flight and figured to eat before rather than eating on the plane. Food was really good.
Don't plan to eat breakfast here. I ordered bacon, eggs and sausage and paid $27 up front using their ipad. It took a while to arrive, The eggs and the bacon were ice cold and the sausage was barely warm. I complained and they offered to take the eggs and bacon away and remove them from my bill. I said they might as well take the sausage as well and they said, "I thought you said the sausage was warm." I guess hot food being warm is their accepted standard. So they refunded everything and I went hungry. They didn't seem to care and acted like hot breakfast served cold happens all the time there. Just another example of the rip-off prices, poor food, and poor service you get once you've cleared security at Pearson Terminal 3. Eat before you go!
