Panagio's All Day Grill - Mississauga

The servers were friendly, but the food left much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend the corned beef meal; it was difficult to tell the beef apart from the potato. Take a look at the picture. The French toast was just average—not remarkable at all. I won't be returning. We ended up spending $60 for two people, and only one of us ordered coffee.

I want to begin by highlighting that the service was outstanding—prompt and attentive. However, the food was quite lackluster. Nothing truly impressed me. Even the apple French toast, which is supposedly a favorite, fell short of my expectations.

Firstly, the food was just mediocre. The portion sizes were quite off; to my surprise, my side of poutine was significantly larger than my main dish, the Gusto Melt sandwich. Unfortunately, the cheese wasn't as melty as one would expect from a grilled cheese. I also ordered tea to accompany my brunch, but it arrived too early and was lukewarm by the time I began eating. Perhaps the most frustrating part of the experience was that I wasn't paying close attention to the bill. I ended up paying gratuity twice without realizing it. Since I was with a group of seven, we were automatically charged a gratuity, but when I paid my bill, I was prompted to add a tip of 15% on the screen. As a result, my total contribution for tips and taxes was likely higher than the cost of my meal itself. In hindsight, I need to be more vigilant about checking my bills in the future. Overall, I'm uncertain about returning to Panagios for brunch. While my friends adored the place, I found it to be just okay.
