My first visit here was a party of five and only my food wasn't great - the lamb burger. It was decent though. Everyone else's food was great but funnily enough, the server was pretty unhelpful by herself. When asked fairly simple questions about the menu, she had to go back and forth between the chef and our table, because in her words, she "wasn't from the same place as the owner so she wasn't very knowledgable about the menu". Later we almost got charged extra for the chicken in the chicken pasta, but they fixed it, so no harm done. Second visit with a friend, it was packed but the owner was our host and he ensured we were taken care of. I got one of the chicken pastas, which was pasta and a lot of chicken curry. Given that this is a fusion of western and brown food, this isn't a surprise but it still wasn't how the pasta was when my mom got it the first time. It tasted good nonetheless.
They were serving buffet and it was the worst buffet that I've been to by all standards. They had one meat item, one chicken item, one rice item, one pasta item and lettuce salad. And for dessert they had canned fruits!! Talk about cheap! I wanted walked out of there but was obliged to stay because it was a family gathering. Tandoori Flame next door is far more superior in quality and quantity than this place. Blah!
Food was good at Pepper walk and so was the service. I would recommend my friends and family members to visit this restaurant. What is needed is to greet with more open heart and smile.
Me and my buddy did lunch at Pepper Walk - I had a burger and he had a chicken sandwich/wrap (don't remember exactly). My burger was on point - high quality beef and bun. I was satisfied but not blown away. My friend felt the same about his meal. For lunch though, the price seemed a little bit steep.I would visit again to try diff items on the menu. Great addition to the halal options in the area.
The design and decor here is refreshing when compared to other Pakistani/Indian restaurants but do not recommend coming with a large family. They are not designed to handle large group because they do not have enough waiters. Food too about 45 min to come out and most was over cooked. No one came if they wanted pepper and to get refill on water is time consuming. The food is ok and overpriced with slow service. Recommend coming with a small group of 4 or less. Also, they use ice berg lettuce for caeser salad, it should be romaine.
