The taste is not bad, but it is below average compared to other pho restaurants in Mississauga. The soup was not hot enough with proper cooking the bean sprouts and Thai basil. The price is about 20% more expensive that other Pho restaurants I have been. Water is served instead of tea. All in all, it's bad value for my money. We will not return to this restaurant.
Whatever you do, NOT EAT from this restaurant. I was eating there last night. I ordered 2 spring roll plates for $5 everyone who only came with two tiny spring rolls that stale over fried and hard like skirt. Needless to say, we couldn't eat it, so it was a waste. We also ordered two veggie fried rice plates for $13 each and the rice was not properly cooked! We tried to eat anyway, but I personally lost my appetite when I found a long black HAIR larger than the length of my hand in food AND there was a smaller hair in the other fried rice dish. After all, we decided to pay and go and guess what? The lady who works, tried to pay for the food, and said we owe $48... if you're the math the food is $36 before tax, so that was not very honest. I'm not even gonna talk about what happened to our tea-lol. And what's worse is the menu they gave us had no prices. I never write reviews because I have better things to do with my time, but I really had a HORRIBLE experience here and I don't want anyone to waste their money and more important time.
If you love spring rolls, don't come here. The filling is good, but the pack is terrible, and tastes cheap. Probably the worst spring role I've ever had. I was in many Vietnamese restaurants, so I know my spring roles. I originally wanted to photograph Queen City, but it was closed and I wanted spring rolls. I regret this decision We ordered Vermicelli and a chicken dish. They were on average big. The taste of the chicken was good. I wouldn't return. There are better Vermicelli and rice options out there.
This place has great service and the food is cooked really well. I usually can’t help but always go for the rare beef soup or their pad thai!
I actually really enjoyed this restaurant, for one it’s very convenient since they are open until 4am. They’re rare beef pho soup is probably one of the best pho soups I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of pho at a lot of different places. They’re bubble tea.. is literally to die for. The mango bubble tea is the best I’ve ever had out of any bubble tea I’ve ever had. I would drive all the way there just for their bubble tea and their pho.. and it’s a good hour drive from where I live! The staff is very friendly, and they are very quick to take and make orders! The only thing that was a little long was the food we ordered to go took a lot longer then expected but that’s fine I was enjoying the rest of my bubble tea anyway! I definitely recommend this restaurant for sure!
