This restaurant is absolutely amazing. It surpasses California sandwiches. Our office visits here weekly and is never disappointed. This is definitely our preferred sandwich spot.

The jumbo olives had a nice kick to them and were enjoyable. The pizza was delicious with plenty of toppings, although the crust was a bit dry. If it had been thinner, it would have been perfect. The vegetarian sandwich had green peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, tomato sauce, and a jalapeño. My spouse took the first bite and got a mouthful of the spicy jalapeño, which was too much for her. I ended up finishing the sandwich, which I enjoyed. The restaurant's interior was a bit dark and could use some updating, but the service was good. The prices were reasonable and the food was fresh, much better than the national chains. I would definitely come back here again.

Great Pizza. There is a lot of good food here, sandwiches, panzerotti, they are lined out the door sometimes.<br/ The interior is way too small, and the take out counter is a major hinderance to enjoying your food, even phone ordering it can take over 10 minutes to pick up because of the lines and the inability to manage people in that tiny space. <br/ <br/ The negatives aside the food is amazing, I often order pizza for take out and it is real pizza, none of this Indian using bread dough and fake topping garbage. The pizza is sizable, filling and old school. It takes a while to order, sometimes 30-45 mins but worth it, just make sure they don't overcook it, they seem to do that.

This restaurant offers great value for your money. I don't understand some of the negative reviews I've seen; you have to know what you're getting when you dine here. San Fran's is not known for its customer service or modern atmosphere, but for its delicious veal and steak sandwiches, as well as its Panzo Pizza combo. The quality of the food for the price is unbeatable in the city. They also have four big screens in the back for watching sports games. I have been a loyal customer for 15 years, and many others have been as well. It's a traditional spot that hasn't changed much over the years. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a satisfying meal or drink.
