The Mission Eatery - Mississauga

I stopped by for a quick lunch because we were pressed for time but wanted something better than fast food. The restaurant was easy to find, and we only had a short wait after placing our order. My meal was decent; I had the chicken avocado panini, which I enjoyed, and the soup of the day was leek and potato. However, my friend was quite disappointed with her tuna melt. It wasn’t the traditional tuna salad; it resembled plain tuna without any seasoning or mayonnaise. Additionally, it wasn't toasted or heated enough for the cheese to melt, making it a letdown as a tuna melt. She then tried the smoked turkey panini, which was acceptable but not remarkable. The turkey was underwhelming, and the BLT was lacking both in lettuce and bacon.

You place your order at the counter and then wait for your food to be prepared. There are plenty of tables available where you can sit and enjoy your meal. I ordered the breakfast quesadilla; it was satisfactory, but a bit too oily for my liking. My friend opted for the veggie omelette sandwich, which looked quite appealing. Overall, it’s a convenient spot for grabbing breakfast.

After picking up my friend from the airport, we were eager to grab some breakfast before facing the morning rush hour traffic. Luckily, we found a small Tim Hortons nearby. There was a long line of cars waiting to get in, so it's important to be patient since you can't turn directly from Airport Road.

I used Mission Eatery for our office event, and the experience was flawless. Communication with them was easy, and the food arrived exactly when expected. There was a great selection, and everything was delicious. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Incredible soups, salads, and sandwiches! The location can be a bit tricky to find, but if you take a walk down the hall on the main floor, you'll come across it. The owners truly pour their passion into every dish, and it clearly reflects in the quality. They also have changing hot specials. It's a wonderful hidden treasure!
