The service was another highlight; my waitress was both efficient and friendly, providing attentive care. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a well-run bar and grill in Missoula.
The situation was somewhat saved by the kitchen. We ordered four of the few items available on the menu, only to discover that two were out of stock. However, they graciously offered us steaks cooked to order instead. I was initially hesitant, but to my surprise, they were cooked to perfection! The kitchen staff really came through in the end. On the other hand, the front-of-house staff clearly needed more support. If you're going to open on a holiday, it’s essential to be fully prepared and to provide adequate assistance to your team. For us to consider returning or recommending your restaurant to others, improvements are definitely needed. Have you seen your recent reviews? They leave much to be desired. In the spirit of Christmas, I left a $100 tip and hope it is shared with the kitchen staff who provided such excellent food!
I don't usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. Every time we visit, Paul, the general manager, and Sadie, one of the servers, make us feel like family. I have a gluten allergy, and Paul went above and beyond to ensure that even the sauce on my chicken was gluten-free. When they realized it contained gluten, they promptly created a special alternative just for me. This restaurant is a hidden gem, and honestly, the wonderful staff alone makes the trip worthwhile. They are true treasures of Missoula. Don’t miss out on this place!
