Caffe Dolce - Missoula

The restaurant serves freshly made pasta, offers excellent service, and delicious food. I highly recommend this restaurant to friends.

While on vacation in Missoula, we were looking for a nice dinner spot and decided to consult Trip Advisor for recommendations. We were pleased to see that this restaurant was ranked #1, so we made a reservation and had a fantastic dining experience. The food, service, and staff were all excellent. We appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and were able to enjoy a leisurely evening.

I am tired of Dolce's inconsistency. I have had their house salad many times and I could tell right away that the salad served to me the other night was a complete mistake. It was inedible, with too much vinegar and almost no oil, as if the proportions were mixed up. I had to send it back, which is always embarrassing. The server brought me the same salad back, insisting that there was nothing wrong with it. The pasta was also terrible, with a disgusting pool of liquid at the bottom of the plate. The Papardelle was doughy and had no flavor. I have usually enjoyed Dolce's pasta in the past, but there have been too many incidents of inconsistency. As a once-loyal customer, I will not be returning to Dolce for dinner anytime soon.

My friends were very impressed with the whole experience. It was a wonderful evening.

This restuarant was outstanding, even beyond MIssoula. The food was of the highest quality, with a decent array of entrees and sides. The brussel sprouts were seasoned and sauted to perfection. The flank steak was very nice and plated well. The halibut (fish special) was, according to my friend, exceptional. Service was excellent, with our waitperson having a good grasp of food questions and answers, and who paid close attention to our needs. I look forward to returning, and hope that it will maintain its high level of quality. I will not hesitate to recommend this restraurant to my friends.
