I tried the spicy tartar sauce, and I’ve been sending him back almost every day to get more because I want to put it on everything I eat! I had the fried shrimp, which was amazing—fresh and well-seasoned—and he had the stuffed turkey, which he couldn’t stop raving about for two days. If you're ever in the area, I definitely recommend stopping by to give them a try. Don’t miss out on the spicy tartar sauce!
I ordered the fish and chips, as well as the pasta with chicken sausage and shrimp. The fried fish and shrimp were excellent, but the pasta dish was a bit bland. I also tried some cracklings, and they tasted quite good.
Was out looking for a place for a quick bite. Not sure what it is about Texas but their meats just taste juicier. This shrimp was just that. Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. I didn't realize this spot was such a chain... it was good thoughand affordable.
I called and introduced myself to the manager, asking for her name. She questioned me, saying, "Why do you need my name?" I explained that it was important to have a personal interaction. She refused to provide her name and instead asked me to come back to the restaurant for a replacement order. I explained that I was in Stafford and it wasn’t feasible for me to drive back. She then asked, "What do you want me to do?" I suggested that she apologize and offer a discount next time. Instead, she kept pressing me for a response. Frustrated, I finally said, “Forget it, ma’am. I’ll just leave a review on Google.” If you’re ordering takeout, be sure to check your food; it might not be fresh, and you could end up with cold, limp fries. I’ve been a loyal customer since the place first opened, but this experience has changed my mind. Clearly, they don’t value customer experience anymore.
I am not sure why this place is rated so high. Picking up a delivery I noticed very dirty floors, flies landing on uncovered food, place looks unkept. We need to hold food places to higher standards….?Food: 1/5
