Papa Joe's - Missouri Valley

Met up with some friends last Saturday night for my birthday and it was awesome, drinks are affordable and is friendly and everyone is nice.. I feel and felt very comfortable. Bar tenders are awesome and friendly and servers are always coming back to our table and cleaning up and asking if we needed anything.

Favorite Hangout... back in the 70's! Went to HS in Missouri Valley and had a horribly made fake ID, which was used regularly at Papa Joes. The owner, Dean Dewaele, founded it in the early 70's? Just looked him up and unfortunately he passed away in 2012. Back then, Papa Joe's had live bands when Led Zeppelin, The Who, BTO, Black Sabbath, Chicago, Yes, and many more ruled. Smoke filled stage, lots of long hair, and Levis jean jackets. It was quite the happening place 50 years ago, and I'm happy it's still going strong today.

Service is good, but I don't do Sundays there anymore

I took my pilot friend Jon there. After dropping off plants in mulch at my property up there. After we, after we dropped off some plants and mulch. I bet my property.. We sat outside to smoke and watched the train. Sit there and the cars get frustrated and leave. LO l, it's a great place for everyone to take that Sunday. Drive on the bike or in cars to go up to from council. Bluffs or omaha 3 models 3 Titus w monster #16 Friend jon, was amazed Because we paid that much for one drink in Omaha.

The service was friendly and welcoming, with a smile, and the pizza was delicious. The complimentary hot dogs were a nice touch while waiting for the pizza to finish cooking. I am excited to return for another visit!
