Mitchell Bakery

This bakery is fantastic! Their pastries are delicious, especially the bee sting cake. However, the coffee could be improved as it is a weak point.

Make sure to try their stop-when-they-go-through croissants. They are fantastic. I enjoyed the beef brisket and mushroom dish with a delicious thick sauce. It was baked perfectly and not too hot to eat without burning my mouth. The custard tart was the best I've had in a long time, with a thick and creamy custard filling. This bakery definitely deserves its award-winning status.

We went through Mitchell. beautiful coffee. they had tables and chairs in front of or around the side of the “Johnny’s Place” where they had some shades. there was an interesting work of art of a “man who leads a horse”. a piece metal etched. friendly staff and a beautiful place to stop.

We had lunch here while we were through and it was pretty nice. my man had a cake he liked and I had a roll that was okay. his thick shook was good, though (and he had a lot thicker shaking of...all over qld).

Great little bakery in the Main Street with easy parking. Ordered a curry pie and jam donuts, and they were lovely and fresh. Seeks a range of buns, breads, sandwiches, coffees meals. Steady stream of people coming into the bakery. Does have an outside...eating area also.
