During the lunch break I was looking for a restaurant near Tripadvisor and found this with 5 out of 5 stars (at 56 reviews! rated Gasthaus Römerschanz. At Gastroguide I am not found because of the few reviews. Environment Cleanliness: 8/10* The inn is located directly outside the city centre on the main road. External radiation is more reserved. There are only one handful of parking spaces outside the door. The entrance area and the bar have already arrived in the years. There are two consecutive guest rooms. These were decorated with great attention to detail in Alpine style. The bright wood and the lushly covered tables I felt very pleasant. I liked to walk around in the guest room as there was a lot to discover. I was blown by the speakers with folk music. The guest rooms and the toilets make a well-kept impression. Service Mood: 8/10* Mr. Wittig, probably the owner, offered the pleasant service. I was kindly greeted and could choose a table of my choice. Almost all tables are quite large. In total, only about 5 tables were occupied. I put myself in the back guest room to make some pictures undisturbed. Mr. Wittig took care of me. Menu Prices: 8/10* or € The menu offers a good selection of regional dishes at average prices. A seasonal daily ticket is also available on a depositor. Drink: 8/10* I chose Cordon Bleu with roasted potatoes and additional salad (12.90 €). The Cordon Bleu was beautifully large and well picked. The filling with ham and mountain cheese was lovingly folded. The roast potatoes would have fried an idea. The plate was very nice. So half a boiled egg with cucumber and silver onion was present next to a salad decoration. Also the salad found my full consent in selection, freshness and grace. I ordered a wheelbase (2.90 €). Conclusion: 8/10* I liked the food, the typical ambience and the service very well. I could imagine a visit.
