I have the 3 meat comb with pulled pork, turkey and cajun sausage, with roasted okra and the frits. Everything was great. You have a good amount of other options if you are not in BBQ. Gentlemen, a few tables were over his Wels-Poboy, so we got it! Recommended!
The ambience of this place was great as it has a jazzy feeling for it. The food was great even though the ribs I got need a little more smoke. Her cornbread was sooo delicious and also her desserts.
NYE and everything is closed in Moab. I was shocked. The Blu Pig was open for dinner and drinks! And also great live music. We ordered turkeys, burned, wings and sides. The burnt ends and wings were great. Get the wings with the garlic buffalo sauce. Music was on the perfect band. It'll be back when you get back down here.
To be too expensive on average with the price of a ground meal at $30 with the soda. Service: Sorry, but it was under par. As mentioned in the area of the environment, it was from the terrace door breezy and cold that she put us down. The server didn't explain anything and was distracted. Although she warmed up. She doesn't wear very personally at night. Environment: For a BBQ joint it looked more like a nightclub. Dark inside with blue lighting. It was cold where we sat. They sat at a door that went to the terrace, with servers that come in and out, and the breeze came to us. I mentioned it briefly after we set ourselves and the server did not even respond to my comment. Costs: quite expensive. Especially for the service and for a 4:40 arrival many things were not available. The baked potatoes were not ready for another 45 minutes, which means they were not even in the oven when we arrived, and the Cheddar potatoes where already left. Food: I like the thick slices they do for all meat All meats had a nice thick red smoke lines of the tri-tip was so well seasoned that I didn't want or needed a BBQ sauce. It was cut from the end, good for the season, but it got dry dryer, the closer I got to the end. In the end it was dry and hard to eat, and there the turkey was moist and was supplemented by the sauce. The brisket was cut again, thick, with a beautiful smoke ring that was made completely but dry. The greatest disappointment was the maismuffins. Please add some salt and maybe some honey! They were so amazing and almost impossible that my children wouldn't even eat them. If they are a recipe, buy a mix. Cole Slav, a must with BBQ was pleasant and fresh and crispy. The beans were good, nothing special, but good. The onion rings were also a great disappointment for the children. The bread was crispy, but the onion was a soggy and mosquito.
Stopped by for an early dinner after a day at Arches National Park around 5 pm. The place was empty except for one other group. My wife and I ordered the 3 meat BBQ combo (12 oz. consisting of a 1/4 rack of baby back ribs (additio nal $4.50 charge for this choice , Cajun sausage, brisket with a side of sweet potato fries and house made cole slaw. All of the items were pretty good with the brisket being my favorite. Although, I would have liked a little spicier BBQ sauce. Ordered a 16 oz. Blu Pig IPA to help wash it all down. Our waitress was extremely friendly and the food came out quick. It was a good way to end an amazing day.
