Grand Laguna Beach - Moca

We paid more for a unit with a private jacuzzi. Booked for 14 nights. Nowhere did it state that the jacuzzi was NOT heated, which is literally the definition of a jacuzzi very deceptive and I wold have never booked that particular villa knowing the truth. A jacuzzi provides heat therapy. Villa only had three face towels, although occupancy was for 6. Mgt first advised to look in all the dresser drawers for more towels. After affirming that there were not additional face towels, we were told the unit only came with 3. There were 6 beach towels and at least a dozen large bath towels. No housekeeping for the entire 14 nights unless we paid extra. The typical charge for an airport trip from Puerto plata to grand Laguna is $30.00 and there are a ton of taxi’s at the airport we paid 40 by booking through Laguna Beach. Our villa had a ton of stairs no photo of stairs was included in villa photos big surprise. Nothing to do on the beach near the villa and typically deserted maybe because you have to kinda slide down the sand to get to the beach. No stores within walking distance so we ended up paying a lot for transportation. We enjoyed the pool. Can’t say I would return.

Should be amazing when the pool and Jacuzzi are finished being remodeled

Be prepared for LOUD music!!! Every day during our 9 night stay, we were awakened at 4 AM by loud music, which continued till 5:30 every morning like clockwork. Disturbing!
