Dynasty Garden - Modesto

This is the only dim sum restaurant in Modesto. While some dishes are inconsistent in quality, overall they do a great job. I haven't dined in recently due to Covid, so I can't comment on the service, but it used to be good. Yesterday we ordered takeout and everything was delicious, except for the Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, which was watery - likely due to the steam from the journey home.

Service is okay but the food is phenomenal!! Basil lamb and chicken chow mein are my go to! Potstickers are delicious too

The food at this restaurant was fantastic! It was fresh, hot, and bursting with flavor. The staff also made sure to check in on us and offer recommendations, like the delicious fried rice and pan-fried noodles. I would definitely come back, especially with a bigger group to try more dishes together. The baked BBQ pork buns were the standout for me today.

This restaurant in Modesto offers the best dim sum in town! It is very authentic and comparable to dim sum in San Francisco. Every visit brings a nostalgic feeling, as it is a small family-owned business that I love supporting. The food is truly authentic and reasonably priced, which is why it gets very busy on weekends for brunch. I usually opt for takeout, even though it may take up to 40 minutes on busy weekends. It is worth the wait every time, as they have a great selection on their dim sum menu, including all of my favorites. Visiting Dynasty reminds me of the dim sum brunches I used to have with my family in Chinatown, San Francisco. Thank you for offering amazing Chinese comfort food in Modesto!
