I went for the pie sale, $10.99 for fruit pies! I got the absolutely delicious French Apple pie! Sweet and juicy! Pie is a 10 out of 10. I'm giving this place a four star based on the cashier and sales associate that helped me. Her service was lousy at best. Didn't offer me a bag for my pie. She did ask when she appeared from the back who was first as I was standing there waiting and so was another gentleman. I said he was first and she helped him. I just thought the woman could have been nicer, she was definitely nicer to him. Maybe because I ordered the cheap sale pie? The ambiance of the pie and muffin display was cute and festive. Decorated for the holidays. I am only writing this review based on my to go whole pie sale. I can't speak to the restraunt or food within it at all. Plenty of parking!
We are visiting from Phoenix. We used to live in Manteca so it has been a long while since we have been here. Very pleasantly surprised to see the new interior. Very bright and open. Our server, Israel, was PERFECT! He was friendly and very attentive. Both my wife and I got the smaller portion chicken pot pie/Caesar salad combo AND it came with a FULL-SIZE pie of pie. Peach for her, Lemon meringue pie for me. Everything was delicious. Great service.
Chicken bone found in my pot pie.....If it wasn't sharp to the point I cut my gum I would have choked and died!!! I wish I could give this place a NEGATIVE 100.. Emailed twice with pictures NO response... Disgusting and dangerous!!!
I went on Fathers Day, hoping to get a good breakfast and celebrate. When walking in, we were greeted by someone who did not have any work attire on or anything identifying that they were an employee. She pointed her fingers, letting us know that it was not the normal service today, so there was no ordering from the menu, and it was buffet style only. When walking into the bar, the food was in the buffet trays, but nothing kept the food warm. I had 1 plate and disgusted of the cold eggs and overcooked poached egg (for the eggs Benedict). Overall, ambiance was gloomy, dirty, and did not have the Marie Calanders feeling it usually did. To make matters worse, the bill came out to over $60.00! That was the last time I would ever go there.
