My partner's order was pretty fast and we reminded the waiter of my order. When the next time we de-minded him when he returned to take away my partner's cleansed dish, he forgot the kitchen. His attitude was as if this happened all the time, or at least he uses this excuse almost without review. I got my simple dish a good hour after arrival. When paying, not a word of regret about the slow service or any indication of a mistake from the waiter. Gasthaus Stickler does not seem to be careful to attract or hold customers. Three or four other parties came while they were there, sat and stood up after waiting for the service that never came. I valued about 16 potential customers in this hour and half. Maybe some are going back, but I know I'm not going back.
Two separate items include Mooslechners: the rented apartments via a restaurant on the main square and the main building on the main street 1, where all guests have breakfast. The breakfast is nice, you can be served in all the details, the... presentation of the table and with the quality of the dishes. Efficient, polite, friendly staff. The perfect setting for a wedding place. The apartment itself was very clean, but the bathroom was tiny, without windows, and the shower was difficult to manage. The two bedrooms were okay, with a lack of mosquito protection on the window that obliges us to sleep with closed window. We haven't even missed tea bags in the kitchen. Of course you shouldn't use the kitchen. There is a TV set in one of the two bedrooms, but no possibily to see it unless you sit on the bed. Given that Rust has so many beautiful vineyards and romantic places to sit and enjoy drinks, television is last on everyone's options. We tried Mooslechner's restaurant one night, we had to wait one and a half hours to get the food. When it came, 3 dishes were very good and one was appalling. All in all a very pleasant experience, but something overpriced.
Each room has been furnished with the owner's personal touch. Comfortable and thoughtful (many drawer/cabinette/closet space) and they were very attentive to personal needs. Excellent breakfast presentation with decorations and unique items that are varied daily. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. We can't... go back.
