My recent experience at this bakery left me thoroughly impressed.Firstly, the location is superb, adding an extra layer of charm to the entire bakery experience. Whether you’re in the mood for a flaky croissant or a hearty sandwich, they have it all, and it’s all delicious.What truly elevated my experience was their exceptional service in crafting my daughter’s 3rd birthday cake. It was not only visually perfect but also a delectable delight. The cake was fantastic—moist, flavorful, and exactly what we had envisioned for her special day. The bakery’s attention to detail truly made the celebration extra special.For anyone seeking a taste of Italy in baked goods or looking for the perfect cake for a special occasion, this bakery is the go-to destination. The combination of a great location, abundant food choices, and the ability to craft unforgettable cakes makes it a standout gem in the area’s culinary scene.

Was VERY disappointed. Ordered a small tray of penne for $70, was told it would feed 18 people. When I picked up the tray I was in a hurry so did not open the large box to see a small tray inside, until I was home. The amount of pasta provided fed 5 people comfortably. I had to cook my own pasta in order to have enough for everyone. I was also charged $14 for approx 2 cups of additional sauce. Was the one and only time I ordered catering from here. Italian Eatery on Thompson is so much better and you get more than your money's worth.

Huge variety of foods and selection. Bakery is phenomenal. The tiramisu was delicious!

I usually come here for their pastries. Their dulce de leche cannot be beat, hands down. I did have a one off experience with one of their cakes where I found hair in it. Wasn't happy with the conversation I had through their messenger. They tried to explain their part of wearing gloves etc etc but a hair in my son's strawberry shortcake is still hair. Hoped for a different outcome but it is what it is.

Maggie and Cosmo have created the most amazing specialty emporium full of rare and hard to get imported foods and treats from around the world! Plus the stellar bakery and kitchen! grew up going here when they had the corner unit. We couldn't wait to drop in Sunday mornings, with the smell of fresh bread in the air! An absolute highlight of growing up. It's a pleasure to walk the isles and fill my basket with all of the wonderful tastes that bring me back to childhood. Bravo!
