Java Lab Cafe - Moline

Enjoyed a late lunch with my daughter and cousin at the Java Cafe today! Great sandwich, great soup and great place to relax and enjoy a bite to eat! Stop in and say hi to the new owners Ann and Tom Waggoner. We will be stopping in again real soon!

Got the chicken on ciabatta and a peach banana smoothie and I was so impressed. Very good service, very great food.

I was at the restaurant for a meeting, and it had a nice, calm atmosphere. After my meeting, I decided to stick around for dinner. The food was outstanding—I really enjoyed the deli sandwich, which was packed with flavor, and the macaroni salad was delicious too. The customer service was also remarkable.

I really appreciate the fidget toys provided at each table; they keep my kids entertained while we wait for our food and drinks, which isn’t too long. The prices are slightly higher than average, but the menu has a good range of options. Generally, the food has been quite tasty, although I did encounter a very dry rice krispy treat on one occasion. It was such a rare issue that I didn’t feel it warranted bringing up. I should mention that my kids absolutely love the library and could easily spend hours there. Having this café nearby is perfect because I can easily grab snacks to keep them fueled for the day!

Overall, it was a quite enjoyable experience. I ordered two sizable sandwiches and a small drink, which is the only size available.
