Contribuisci feedbackWe had a meal before a concert. We arrived at around 4 pm and when we left, there was a three-hour waitlist. We both ordered steak, but found them difficult to cut. The mashed potatoes had nothing on them and the side of broccoli was average. We only ate about half of everything as it was not the best dinner. However, the server was great. Overall, the food was substandard.
The waitress was excellent, but the food was terrible. I ordered the 6oz steak with shrimp. The shrimp was good but soggy, the steamed broccoli had a sour taste, and the mashed potatoes were barely warm. The steak, which I ordered medium rare, was cooked medium rare but had a nasty brown color. It was tough and difficult to cut into. Overall, the meal was not worth $70 and I could have had a better meal at Village Inn. While the waitress was great, the bad food experience makes me hesitant to return without some sort of compensation.
We went there at 6pm on a Saturday. I reserved a table prior to going and we were able to get right in. We sat down and ordered drinks. It took them close to a half hour before we got our first drinks , and one of them was wrong. My girlfriend just drank the drink though, because we didn't want to wait another half an hour for another drink. We then ordered our food and I ordered another drink. The food did not come until we were there an hour (7pm). My plate came out first around 650 and then we waited another ten minutes for my girlfriends food. My second drink never came. I asked for my bill at an hour and ten minutes.(710) She brought the bill out a minute later and the she tried to charge me $8 for a drink I never received. I sent it back to her and said I don't want the drink anymore and I will not pay for it. She took the drink off the ticket. We didn't leave until 7:15. IT took us so long to get food and drinks and the bill that we were late to our event. I won't be going there again until reparations have been made.
Despite using OpenTable to make a reservation at 11:00, the restaurant did not have it on record when we arrived for our 11:45 reservation. The staff was rude and unhelpful when we explained the situation, even though the restaurant was nearly empty. They eventually set up a table for us, but the whole experience left a bad impression. It seems that even with a confirmation, the restaurant did not receive our reservation.
Maybe the worse dining experience I’ve ever had strictly due to the service. Food was very good, especially the boneless wings in JD sauce. However, right from the start we waited, and waited. The place was not that busy. We were in no hurry, but it got to the point that we were laughing because of how long it took to get a waitress. Even after we asked a bus girl to please send us a waitress. But my laughter turned to downright embarrassment for suggesting TGIF. Things never got better. Once we finally received our food, we were not once checked on or asked for beverage refills. Couldn’t get our bill, couldn’t get to go containers. Food was very good but service was so bad, I doubt I will ever go back. Bill was around $100 and i think I left a 12 or 14$ tip but i seriously should not have left a dime.
